Oh, this will be a fun one.

I'm quitting making music, and thus being "active" on Newgrounds. It has exactly three reasons:

1. Missing motivation. While some of my remixes got a huge amount of listens, comments and likes, my original work almost never got any attention. But I can definitely understand why; the source songs of my remixes were quite popular and I think I'm really not talented in composing original music and all that, which leads me to my next point:
2. Dissatisfaction. I hate my music. The process of making it may be fun sometimes, but at the end I either never finish anything or do it just very roughly. Also I personally listen to c o m p l e t e l y, and i mean, completely different styles of music! I don't listen to any dubstep (or EDM in general) or Rap, I'm actually a metalhead. I would LOVE to compose my own metal, and I'm already part in a small band (playing bass and keyboard). But I'm not able to share anything here of our results.
3. Missing time. I'm not able to waste any more time for making (at least electronic) music, mostly due to other hobbys, like: photography, programming, sleeping... I tried for three years to make this kind of music and I haven't succeeded. Oh, and school of course.

If anybody is interested in it, I will release all of my "recent" (~1.5 years) songs and maybe some bigger project files. It will take a while to compile a list of everything, rendering it all out and uploading it to my server, but it will happen soon. Feel free to do anything with this stuff, you may actually be suprised what I've tried out in my last few projects.

A: No, you can't. But that's not my fault, I still need to be added to the artist whitelist from Rob (which is very unlikely to happen)

A: I'm, as of January 2019, 15 years old, live in the worst part of Germany, visit a high school (currently in 9th grade) and plan to train as an IT specialist.

First of all, thanks for the very detailled reviews! Feels weird knowing that people actually take much of their time to rate your stuff.

I am definetly going to finish my NGUAC Knock-Out Round song "Crusher", shouldn't take me too long i guess. I tried to fix most of the things that were criticized, but it doesn't make that much of a difference.

After I finished this song, i probably take a little break because school started here and I lately spent most of my free time making music. It doesn't get "annoying" or something - but I want to do other things, too.

The next song is probably going to be something more chill, thinking about again remixing something but in a less complex genre than Dubstep. You guys can submit ideas if you want - if somebody actually reads this post.

I already did lots of original songs before my gourmet race remix, but they are either not finished and I am missing motivation for them or they are just not good enough. I'll still focus on remixes, because I don't have to sit in front of my computer for multiple hours just to get an okay enough 4 bar melody loop out of my head and I'm still able to add my own touch to them, but I just think that I should post my first "real" original song.

It is probably going to be a dubstep song, just because dubstep is a great genre for wasting time. The intro, chord progression and melody are done, so i think that I'll release it in a week or so.
